Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
At CMYK Art Studio, classes for K-2nd grade students are geared towards exploration of materials, learning foundational concepts in art, caring for materials, and developing vocabulary to talk about their work. All of this takes place in a safe, fun, and uplifting environment where students collaborate with their peers, learn to encourage one another, and feel safe to express themselves freely.
Afterschool Art Intensives
Join the studio for a 4-week after school Art Intensive focused on learning and exploring a different art medium. Each session can accommodate up to 10 students. Each week we will go over the rules of the studio, learn how to properly care for all materials used, talk about new art concepts, and most importantly dive into art-making through a creative lens! Incorporated into each 4-week session, students will also participate in a group critique where they will learn how to encourage their peers, talk about their artwork, reiterate concepts they learned, and learn to give and accept feedback.
