Art Classes at CMYK Art Studio
At CMYK Art Studio, we believe students discover their unique artistic style through exploration. Our Explore Core classes are the foundation of our program, exposing students to a variety of materials, techniques, and concepts while encouraging creative problem-solving and individual expression. We prioritize professional-quality materials and focus on helping students create original artwork rather than replicate a predetermined project.

This fall, we're also introducing semester-long Drawing and Digital Media classes. These more structured programs focus on developing specific skills and techniques over time, with a themed curriculum each semester (Fall: September–January; Spring: February–June). Students may join at any time while space is available.
Our foundational classes at CMYK are our Explore Core classes. Every semester there are a variety of topics to choose from for each grade level. These classes are an hour and a half and allow the students gain exposure to different types of art. Check out the individual grade pages to view class topics.

Explore Core 1 (K-3rd) - Mon (5pm-6:30pm); Wed (4pm-5:30pm)
Explore Core 2 (4th-6th) - Tues and Thur (5pm-6:30pm); Wed (5:30pm-7pm)
Explore Core 3 (7th-9th) - Mon and Wed (6pm-7:30pm)
You get better at drawing by...drawing! No surprise there. This semester-long class will be focused on refining and building your drawing skills. If you improve how well you can draw, all of you artwork will improve. This Fall's theme is Faces + Figures focused on drawing the human figure and facial features.

Drawing 4 (10th-12th) - Tues (7pm-8pm)
To be a creative professional in this day and age, you must have the ability to work digitally. This semester-long class is designed to help young creatives build these skills to expand their creative toolkit and learn how to use current software and technology. The theme for this Fall's digital media classes is Digital Illustration using ProCreate. CMYK Art Studio will have an iPad for each student to work on or the students are welcome to use their own if they choose.

Digital Media 4 (10th-12th) - Thur (7pm-8pm)
The homeschool classes are designed around our Explore Core framework giving you a day-time option. These classes were created to have a wider age range to accommodate families with siblings. The projects will be adapted to meet the needs to students who are more advanced.
