Kindergarten - 3rd Grade
At CMYK Art Studio, classes for K-3rd grade students are geared towards exploration of materials, learning foundational concepts in art, caring for materials, and developing vocabulary to talk about their work. All of this takes place in a safe, fun, and uplifting environment where students collaborate with their peers, learn to encourage one another, and feel safe to express themselves freely.

Explore Core Classes
Join the studio for a 4-week Explore Core class focused on learning about a different art medium or topic. Each session can accommodate up to 10 students. During the four weeks we will go over the rules of the studio, learn how to properly care for all materials used, talk about new art concepts, and most importantly dive into art-making to create individualized art focused on creative problem solving! Incorporated into each 4-week session, students will also participate in a group critique where they will learn how to encourage their peers, talk about their artwork, reiterate concepts they learned, and learn to give and accept feedback.
Check back soon for Fall 2026 Explore Core topics and dates! This Fall we will also be offering a semester-long Drawing class focused on drawing the human figure and facial features.

Craft sparkling sun catchers and whimsical dreamcatchers, exploring colors, shapes, and textures. Register.
K-3rd Studio Membership
Do you have a student that loves art and wants to be consistent about developing their skills? A K-3rd Studio Membership might be the perfect fit for you! You will register for a semester worth of Explore Core classes (4 classes in total) for 16 weeks of art-making! A perk of this membership is that you get to pre-select your classes prior to them opening to everyone else AND because you are registering for 4 classes, we also give you a discount.
