Portfolio Boot Camp
This class series is designed for rising 9th–12th grade students who are serious about improving their skills and building a stronger body of work over the summer. Students will create a personalized summer art creation plan, receive professional feedback, participate in critiques and discussions with other other artists, and learn how to photograph and edit their artwork for digital submission. By the end of the bootcamp, artists will leave with a clear creative roadmap, greater confidence, and a focused plan for making the most of their free-time this summer!
Portfolio Boot Camp Sessions
Tuesday/Thursdays, 6pm-8pm

Session #2: June 30; July 2, 7, 9
You can sign up for one or both sessions. Each session has limited space of 8 students.
What's included?

FREE 30-minute portfolio evaluation with student and parent(s) booked individually

4 weeks of classes (8 hours total):

Identify missing pieces needed to strengthen the portfolio

Refine and improve existing artwork

Learn to photograph and edit artwork for digital submission

Develop professional presentation skills

Create a plan of what to create independently over the Summer.

Have an opportunity to talk about their work and receive peer-review.

Improve existing artwork or start new pieces.
They will leave this class series feeling confident in their next steps to apply to the College or their choice and/or build a stronger body of work.
